Candle-light march by students

Today, in the evening at around 6:30 PM we witnessed a peaceful candle march, mostly by the students of MMM, V.S. , LLR, SN/IG and RLB Halls of Residence. People(including students from other halls like RK and RP) came, lit candles, offered their prayers and left, making way for others to do the same, quietly and in a highly organised manner. This is how a mature response looks like....instead of ransacking homes and smashing window panes.... After the students lit candles at the Bidhan Chowk , they observed a two-minute silence, offering their condolences for the family and friends of Rohit. Our prayers go out to them.

  1. "Mature response" ?

Wrong comparison I'm afraid. The candles are for Rohit's soul. The ransacking was for those *******

  2. whatever was done was correct... but the extremities the incident at diro's bungalow met was certainly not sought for... wasn't mature on our side... all of us were their to protest and not to steal chocolates, souvenirs, drink coconut water and give pose on sofa... if these things were being done by some ppl among us then we shuld have MATURELY stopped them

  5. Some people had tried to cancel the candlelight march, who as I have come to know, are the hall presidents. I think we the students have shown them that we are not dictated by them with our unity and feeling of emotion. These hall presidents, as we are all figuring out, are ball-less creatures trying to save their skins having lost their total emotion and compassion as felt by the entire student community. We have shown them that we are not their subjects. Thank you KGP. We all prayed for Rohit's soul and I am sure he will rest in peace, but not yet ...not yet.

  6. @mtech....

I also want to put the same words here as of yours. These HP's are SELF ASSUMED KINGS. They think people will do whatever they'll say. All these HP's are totally nonsense, but they show as if only these people have brain.

Candle Light Vigil ne ye saabit kar diya ki HP humein sahi kaam karne se nahi rok sakte. And the most interesting part, ALL HP's WERE PRESENT THERE AT BIDHAN CHOWK AT THE TIME OF VIGIL.

This shows the REAL POWER OF JUNTA. I think now THESE PEOPLE MUST HAVE REALIZED THEIR REAL STRENGTH.

These poltu people should be ashamed of themselves....they dont have any ground to stand and dictate us....

KEEP UP THE UNITY GUYS!!!...this is the true spirit of kgp...
